Privacy Notice

VERSION 2026-09-09.1

Privacy Notice

This notice explains the information macintosh.cash uses to provide Macintosh.id profiles, referrals, security controls, rewards displays, and promotions.

Information we process

When you create a Macintosh.id, we process and store your public wallet address, chosen username, creation time, immutable referrer (if any), the Terms version accepted, and acceptance time. We also store salted hashes derived from limited network and browser information to detect abuse. These hashes are designed to support comparison without storing the underlying network address in the profile record.

Wallet-signature challenges include a nonce, requested username, referral, timestamps, public wallet address, and signed message. We verify signatures to prove wallet control; we never request or store private keys or seed phrases. Hosting and security providers may also process ordinary request logs and device information.

Public and blockchain information

Your username, wallet address, profile creation date, referral score, and profile URL are public. Wallet balances and transactions are already public on Robinhood Chain. The site may retrieve public balance and reward information from blockchain nodes, Pons, price providers, and block explorers to display a profile or receipt.

How we use information

We use this information to create and restore profiles, preserve referral attribution, display public metrics, prevent duplicate or abusive activity, enforce rate limits, diagnose failures, operate promotions under their Official Rules, verify winners, and meet legal or security obligations.

Storage and sharing

Profile identity and referral records are designed to remain immutable while the service operates. Challenge, security, operational, winner-verification, and audit records may be retained as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and promotion administration. Blockchain records cannot be deleted by Macintosh.

Information may be processed by hosting, database, monitoring, RPC, wallet, Pons, and other infrastructure providers as needed to operate the service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as described in applicable Official Rules.

Your choices

You may browse without creating a profile. You can disconnect your wallet from the site at any time, but disconnecting does not delete a public blockchain address or an immutable Macintosh.id assignment. Do not create a profile if you do not want the wallet-to-username association to be public.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about processing. Some requests may be limited where data is public, immutable, needed for security, or legally required. Send privacy questions or requests to @MacintoshAAPL on X; verification of wallet control may be required.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice as the service changes. The current version will be posted here. Questions can be sent to @MacintoshAAPL on X. Promotion-specific contact details appear in the applicable Official Rules.
