Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance

By using this site, or by selecting “Create Macintosh.id” and signing the displayed wallet message, you agree to these Terms. The signature is free, does not authorize a blockchain transaction, and does not give Macintosh custody of your wallet or assets. If you do not agree, do not create or use a profile.

2. Independent parody project

Macintosh is an independent parody and community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Apple Inc. Apple, Macintosh, and related names and marks belong to their respective owners.

3. Wallets, profiles, and public information

You are responsible for your wallet, keys, compatible software, and account security. Never share a private key or seed phrase. A Macintosh.id links a public username to a public wallet address. Profile information, wallet balances, referral counts, and blockchain activity may be publicly visible. Usernames, wallet assignments, and referral attribution are intended to be permanent after registration.

You may not use the service to impersonate another person, interfere with the site, evade safeguards, automate abusive registrations, manipulate referrals, or violate applicable law. We may restrict or disqualify activity that violates these Terms or applicable promotion rules.

4. Tokens, rewards, and third-party services

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Digital assets can be volatile and may lose value. Displayed balances, prices, reward totals, and estimated values may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. Verify important information independently before acting.

Trading, wallets, Robinhood Chain, Pons, AAPL Stock Tokens, block explorers, and social platforms are third-party services governed by their own terms, availability, and geographic restrictions. Macintosh does not control third-party reward calculation or distribution and does not guarantee rewards, timing, liquidity, price, or continued availability.

5. Promotions and referrals

Creating an eligible Macintosh.id during an announced entry period automatically provides one free entry; no checkbox or later visit is required. Profiles created before the period may also be included when the applicable Official Rules say so. Each valid referred profile may provide the referrer one additional free entry. No purchase is necessary. Buying, owning, holding, trading, or receiving any token does not improve the odds of selection.

Participation is limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally eligible to receive the applicable prize in their jurisdiction. By participating, each entrant represents that they satisfy these requirements. Participation is void where prohibited by law.

AAPL Stock Tokens are not available in every jurisdiction. If a selected winner cannot legally receive an AAPL Stock Token, the Macintosh community project may provide a substitute prize of comparable stated value as permitted by law.

Every raffle or promotion is governed by separate Official Rules. Those rules control eligibility, dates, prizes, odds, winner verification, geographic restrictions, substitution, taxes, and disqualification. These Terms do not replace the Official Rules. Creating or maintaining a Macintosh.id does not guarantee eligibility for a particular promotion.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue site features when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or technical reasons. Changes to an active promotion will be handled only as permitted by its Official Rules and applicable law. The version shown above applies to new profile registrations made while it is posted.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Macintosh and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost assets, wallet compromise, third-party failures, or reliance on displayed information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
